At the end of this course, the student will learn:
- Boolean algebra, logic principles, gate and block-level schematic drawings to analyze and interpret digital functions
- Application of combinational and synchronous sequential design techniques to solve digital problems with medium complexity
- Analyzing the timing performance of simple synchronous systems using fundamental AC specifications
- Use of Computer-Aided-Design (CAD) tools and hardware description languages to design, model, simulate, implement, and test logic circuits of simple and medium complexity
