At the end of the course, the student is expected to acquire the;
ability to relate different scale-levels (i.e. building, site, district) within a giving urban context
the skill of representation and discussion of the different design aspects of urbanism in a single framework
typological thinking based on the knowledge of precedents in designing the complexity of collective urban form
acquaintance with the fundamental knowledge of formulating the main problematics of housing planning and design, and proposing a designerly perspective to the given problem.
skill of creating a shared language between the different disciplines (of architecture and planning) to experience the notion of urbanism on a productive basis.
