Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, students should be able to understand and apply fundamental probability concepts, including conditional probability, independence, and Bayes’ theorem. They will work with discrete and continuous random variables, calculate expectations and analyze joint distributions. Students will use combinatorial methods to solve probability problems, and model real-world scenarios using appropriate probability distributions. They will also develop the ability to clearly communicate probabilistic reasoning and interpret results in context.
