Upon successful completion of this course, the students will be able to:
- summarize the pillars of active learning and CS-unplugged approaches to CS education,
- synthesize activities from different teaching approaches in activity design and lesson planning,
- compare and contrast active learning and CS-unplugged approaches,
- analyze an article on active learning and summarize it,
- apply principles of active learning and CS-unplugged in lesson plan development,
- design activities complying with the principles of active learning and CS-unplugged approach,
- create a lesson plan template in a very short time,
- evaluate new CS curriculum that was proposed by the MNE,
- carry out discussions on active learning, CS-unplugged approach, lesson planning, activity design and adaptation.
