By the end of the course, the successful students are expected to:

• explain the requirements of each orthogonal architectural drawing for on-site construction,
• analyze the requirements of a given situation and solve architectural detailing problems creatively,
• represent their choice of detailing solution through a series of orthogonal and three dimensional drawings,
• defend their choice of detailing solution by matching the requirements and their set of materials and the composition in the given location,
• describe what BIM is and why it is relevant for the future of construction sector,
• describe the advantages and disadvantages of using BIM in a construction project.
