At the end of course, the student will;

1. gain knowledge on water quality issues.

2. learn water sampling and monitoring issues to handle water quality related problems.

3. be able to use the hydrogeochemical techniques and knowledge of mathematics to solve water quality problems.

4. gain knowledge on the applications of low P-T equilibrium thermodynamics to the solution ofwater quality related problems.

5. be able to evaluate water quality related data using computerprograms.

6. will gain knowledge and practice about analytical chemical analyses of natural waters.
