Course Objectives

Multiphase reactors are those reactors in which two or more phases are necessary to carry out the reaction. There are many reactors of this type in industry. The objective is to introduce basic concepts in multiphase reactors, operating, modeling, design and scale up principles such as intraparticle and interphase transport resistances, hydrodynamics, residence time distribution and mathematical models
