The main goal of this course is enabling students to develop a comprehensive understanding about how human memory system develops within social context, and the implications of memory system in different settings or states, such as after experiencing a trauma, or during eyewitness testimony, etc.

I expect students to develop an understanding about structural, functional and theoretical bases of memory system, and to reflect what they learn in this course upon constructing a study design and proposal, which they may consider to conduct in the future.
