After successfully completeing this course the students should be able to:

• Analyze high dimensional low rank data through dimension reduction
• Apply morphological operators to color images to find regions / shapes of interest 
• Cluster data using methods such as: k-means, hierarchical clustering and spectral clustering
• Have a basic understanding of what graphs are, use different methods to conduct search on a graph
• Setup a fully connected neural network or a convolutional neural network and train it using labeled data
