At the end of the course, the student will;

A) understand and be able to simply evaluate the environmental impact of cement

B) be able to select the proper cement for a given task.

C) be able to develop a simple cement hydration model to estimate hydration product content and temperature changes.

D) understand the impact of aggregates on concrete and select a proper combination of aggregates for a given task.

E) understand what the basic types of mineral and chemical admixtures for concrete are and select the proper admixture for a given task.
