Course Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the course, the student should be able to:

1.1 Identify the need for lifelong learning and search for new approaches, equipments and methods used all over the world in mining,

1.2 Obtain the latest practices from all over the world and implement it or them in their professional mining engineering life,

2.1 Search, evaluate and implement the recent methods and equipments used for modern mine development,

2.2 Search, evaluate and implement the recent methods and equipments used for modern ore exploitation,

3.1 Identify and describe the environmental impacts of mining in advanced stage,

3.2 Obtain and apply the most recent methods and equipments to mitigate with environmental impacts of mining,

4.1 Recognize and identify the risks encountered in various types of mining from occupational health and safety point of view,

4.2 Search, evaluate and implement the recent approaches, techniques, and personnel self protecting equipments during his/her professional mining engineering life.
