This is the first course in the intermediate Italian language sequence.
The objectives of the course are to help students to acquire the ability to use what they have learned by focusing on the essential communicative functions in Italian (describing, comparing, reacting, telling and summarizing, hypothesizing and talking about the future past and present). The course will also help students to achieve a greater comprehension in speaking and writing abilities. Further, this course gives students the opportunity to apply these skills as they learn more about Italian culture through authentic sources. Students will be expected to communicate effectively in Italian .
Students will learn how to:
