This class is designed to introduce students to the academic study of politics. A primary objective of the course is that students will learn to differentiate among the various concepts and ideologies of political science. Additionally, the course aims to assist in the development of the analytical tools necessary for successful completion of the political science undergraduate degree. In particular, the course emphasizes learning to identify and evaluate basic debates in political science.
