The objective of this course is to present the physical and chemical processes that arise during the transport and growth particulates suspended in a gas stream. Through lectures, homework assignments and in class dicsussions, fundamentals of aerosol processes are covered first from a theoretical perspective, and then the theory is applied to instruments of measurement and techology on the capture of particulates.
