The objective of the course is to introduce acquisiton, manipulation and use of spatial data related to earth while introducing various applications of Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The course will tend to train the student to utilize GIS technology and its derivative products for handling geospatial data to achieve goals of projects in different earth science problems.
