By the end of this course, students will:
- generate consciousness on spatial and temporal issues of multi-layeredness and appropriate terminology;
- institute a critical framework as well as the means to understand and represent material and spatial reflections of historical stratification in the multi-layered towns and its components;
- experience an application platform for interpretative and transformative practices related to multi-layered contexts, such as architectural and urban conservation and design projects encouraged by a multi-disciplinary approach in research and design.
