By the end of the course the students will

- further understand the concept of plan hierarchy and representation of plan decisions at different scales.

- notice the interplay between population distribution, urban functions and transportation 

- learn to conduct basic level urban and regional analysis with spatialised data

- recognise inter urban, intra urban and urban-rural relationships
