By the end of the semester, students will be able to:
- Formulate a research problem with clear objectives and scope appropriate to their discipline.
- Conduct a systematic literature review and synthesize prior findings to motivate the study.
- Design an appropriate methodology (quantitative, qualitative, or mixed) including sampling/participants, instruments, and procedures.
- Collect, manage, and document data ethically, following a data management plan and relevant research ethics guidelines.
- Analyze data correctly and interpret results with attention to validity, reliability/trustworthiness, and limitations.
- Communicate findings in writing using academic style, proper structure, visuals, and citations.
- Deliver a professional oral presentation (seminar) and respond to questions.
- Plan and manage the project timeline, reflecting on progress and incorporating feedback.
