When students have completed the course they will have acquired the necessary academic skills and knowledge in the following areas:

• Students will be able to use teaching platforms used in Campus
• Students will be able to cite and reference authors in their written work according to the requirements of the university
• Students will be able to write an academic bibliography
• Students will be fully aware of the concept of plagiarism and understand the negative consequences of committing such an act during their studies at METU NCC
• Students will be able to conduct their own literature searches
• Students will be able to analyse and use basic statistical data, drawing out its wider social and political significance
• Students will be able to summarise texts and materials which constitute required reading for their various courses.
