This course is to develop a working knowledge on the following subjects:

• Basic concepts in numerical control and CNC machine tools,
• CNC machine programming and software design,
• Principles for computer control and digital sensor technology,
• Computer aided manufacturing (CAM) tools,
• Electrical motor drives for CNC machine tools.
