Upon completing this course pre-service teachers will be able to:
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of technology components and their operations.
- Explain the distinction between technology integration and technology use.
- Compare and contrast the levels of technology integration.
- Design and implement effective learning environments and experiences those integrate technology.
- Make a decision of proper combination of technology and pedagogy for the selected mathematics content.
- Use technology for collaboration with their colleagues for building a community of practice.
- Utilize technology to facilitate various effective assessment strategies for student learning.
- Analyze specific technologies across contexts and content according to their usage. (e.g., K-12, higher education, algebra, geometry etc.)
- Develop and implement rich technology-integrated lesson plans by deciding an appropriate combination of technology, mathematics content and pedagogy.
