To identify soil properties relevant to pavement design and appropriate test methods to characterize pavement performance
To demonstrate knowledge on fundamental pavement materials used in flexible and rigid pavements and their engineering properties
To recognize importance of soil stabilization and methods used for soil stabilization
To calculate mix design parameters for both flexible and rigid pavements and describe interrelationship between them
To analyze test results for pavement performance and pavement distress models
To calculate statistical parameters describing materials variability
