At the end of the course, students will
- Learn socially and politically constructed character of identities based on sex, gender and sexuality.
- Learn historically changing and varying Feminist criticism towards central presumptions of traditional Political Science and Political Theory. .
- Learn the various criticism from gender studies field towards the public sphere and private sphere dichotomy.
- Learn importance of gender in formal political practice and the role of the states in the enhancing, improving as well as subverting gendered division of labor in society.
- Learn the ways in which social stratification based on race, ethnicity, class goes along with gendered inequailities.
- Learn the various and diversified policies and practices of nationalist ideologies influencing the groups with various gender identities.
- Learn the gendered nature of economic relations under the ınfluence globalization process.
