The demographic, economic, social, legal and institutional framework of the labour market in Turkey from the beginnings of the 19th century until the contemporary period from an internationally comparative perspective, with special emphasis on wages, living and working conditions, legislation and on the mechanisms and dynamics of their determination, taking into consideration the situation in various other countries and the international conventions and other instruments.
