Course is designed for all students who intend to continue their postgraduate education in BME graduate program. The objectives include learning and understand the fundamental scientific concepts relating to a broad range of topics in human physiology. Students will become familiar with the basic information concerning the mechanisms and functioning of human body that BME students will require in the rest of their scientific careers.

1. Explain the basic physiological processes that maintain homeostasis in human body.

2. Describe the structure and function of different physiological systems and their organs.

3. Show how different physiological systems interact with each other.

4. Give examples how diseased states may affect homeostasis
