At the end of this course, the student will learn:

1)Provide students with the basic knowledge of classification of   microfossils.

2) Teach students with the basic approaches for identification of   microfossils and their internal structures in laboratory and in the field,   using appropriate tools.

3) Teach students how to treat and analyze micropaleontologic data.

4) Create opportunity for students to work on a stratigraphic problem by   himself/ herself in order to increases his/her confidence in approaching   geologic problems by using microfossil data.
