This course introduces the fundamental and contemporary topics in the literature of prejudice from a social psychological perspective. In this course, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and practical applications of psychological research on prejudice are examined in-depth. By the end of the course, students will: 

• Discuss and critically evaluate different definitions of  stereotype, prejudice, and discrimination. 
• Analyze and compare different techniques used to measure stereotype, prejudice, and discrimination.
• Critically evaluate and criticize theoretical models and perspectives in the area of prejudice. 
• Comprehend the consequences of prejudice for the target of prejudice.
• Analyze the factors affecting confronting prejudice and discrimination.
• Evaluate different prejudice-reducing techniques and their strengths and weaknesses.
