At the end of the course, the students are expected to learn the basic political developments in the establishment of the Republic of Turkey and social and economic processes in modern Turkey. The course also aims to provide the students who are from various backgrounds and disciplines, with an understanding of Turkish history within the developments of world history; and with knowledge of Turkey among the world of nations in the twentieth century.
