By the end of this course, students should be able to:
(a) define the main design characteristics of a particular organization;
(b) to comprehend the basic processes, and how individuals and groups think and behave in organizations;
(c) analyse the fit between the organization, its people and their work and the environment;
(d) determine the fit between the organization's design and various elements such as its size, age, technology, and strategy;
(e) understand how all these variables bring about organizational effectiveness.
