The main aim of this course is to provide learners with the theoretical basis and practical skills in the area of ELT Teacher Education. The course is designed to educate learners in different aspects of ELT Teacher Education so that they can become component researchers and/or resourceful ELT teacher trainers. By the end of the semester, learners will mainly be able to:

• Study the main approaches and methods to ELT Teacher Education.
• Reflect on the current state and future of the ELT Teacher Education as a research field.
• Read chapters in selected books and current articles in the field of ELT Teacher Education.
• Go through practical ELT Teacher Education supervision cycle.
• Be exposed to different technological tools for ELT Teacher Education.
• Write and share reflection reports and forum posts in relation to the topics covered in the lesson.
• Design, implement, and report a study in the field of ELT Teacher Education.
