After completion of this course the students will have finished the level A1.2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Emphasis will be placed on vocabulary expansion, basic grammar acquisition and basic comprehension.

By the end of the course students will be able to:

• offer help or ask for help
• express preferences and wishes, writing postcards or  letters
• talk about diseases and give some advices
• describe a person
• talk about rules
• discuss about clothes and fashion
• understand weatherforecasts
• talk about weather
• write about vacation in detail
• understand words of the areaholidays and celebrations: congratulations, presents; family  and childhood memories
• plan a weekend, organise a city tour, visiting a friend
