At the end of this course the students should be able to:
- Comprehend basic timeline of events in history of astronomy.
- Express a general perspective of the universe.
- Paraphrase knowledge of objects in the observable sky (Sun, Moon, planets, comets etc.)
- Demonstrate the fundamental physics that governs the objects in the sky (conceptually).
- Analyze the underlying dynamics behind the objects in the universe.
- Evaluate the observable universe and/or cosmos from local observations to the large-scale universe models.
