At the end of this course, the student will :

1. acquire basic concepts and fundamentals of units, conversion of units, chemical kinetics, chemical thermodynamics and equilibrium processes.

2. learn basic concepts and fundamentals of mass balance, reactor analysis, energy balance and mass-transport processes as applied to natural and engineered systems.
