At the end of the course, the students are expected to have sufficient knowledge and experience to design and implement modest field ecology projects by themselves. They will have learned theoretical aspects of most common methodologies, including statistical design and computerized analysis of ecological data. They will obtain first-hand theoretical and practical knowledge of radio/satellite telemetry, rapid biodiversity assessment and GIS-based analysis.
