Student, who passed the course satisfactorily will: 

1)  Gain the fundamental knowledge of the characteristics and structure of power systems, and be able to analyze three-phase balanced networks.

2)  Be able to develop and use models for basic power system equipment (such as lines, cables, transformers, generators, etc) and utilize these models in the analysis of  three-phase short-circuits.
