2)            Identify the voltage and current relationship on a transmission line.

3)            Calculate input impedance, voltage, current, reflection coefficients and standing wave ratio of a Terminated Lossless Transmission Line.

4)            Calculate the reflection coefficient and power delivered to the load in the presence of generator and load mismatch.

5)            Calculate the attenuation constant and power loss through a lossy transmission line

6)            Understand the principles and calculate the characteristic impedance and length of a quarter wave impedance transformer.

7)            Using smith chart in analysis.

8)            Understand the concept of TEM, TE, and TM Waves on transmission lines and wave guides.

9)            Analyzing rectangular wave guides, coaxial lines, striplines and microstrips.

10)          Identify reciprocal, non-reciprocal and lossless microwave networks.

11)          Calculate the impedance, admittance, S-parameter matrix of a microwave network.

12)          Obtain the signal flow graph of a microwave network and obtain S-parameters.
