The aim of the course is to increase the participant’s understanding of research methodology and to provide the skills needed for critical evaluation of research results. Lectures and seminars deal with strength and weaknesses of different types of research methods and with research ethics. Group assignments and individual assignments i nvolve critical analyses of research articles and evaluation of the present state of knowledge in a specific research field.
