By the end of the course the student will be able to

• be able to apply suitable electric resistance strain gauge on different materials
• be able to choose best electrical circuit for a specific application
• be able to perform necessary corrections for temperature changes, transverse strain effects, electrical noise rejection etc.
• be able to wire the electric resistancve strain gauge to device
• be able to choose proper excitation for electrical rresistance strain gauge
