- Plan and design a directional well trajectory by understanding the survey calculation methods,
- Understand the well placement and anti-collision theory,
- Understand methods of directional drilling measurements and tools’ working mechanisms,
- Evaluate steering methods and tools,
- Understand the concept of sidetracking,
- Design BHA for directional drilling applications,
- Understand common BHA and drilling problems.
