1.  Recognize the major empirical and theoretical results in the study of attention and understand the evidence behind these results

 

2.  Distinguish the theoretical models of attention

 

3.  Apply the concepts of visual and auditory selective attention to cognitive information processing and action

 

4.  Interpret the important relationship between attention and perception, cognition, memory, language, and action

 

5.  Explain the appropriate clinical diagnosis of attentional impairments and discuss key techniques for rehabilitation of attentional deficits
