By the end of this course, students will become familiarized with the introductory terms and concepts in language study including Natural Language Processing, identify details of linguistic structure, recognize and analyze systematic patterns in various languages, be able to conduct linguistic research on the linguistic similarities and differences between Turkish and other languages, become familiar with the basic terms and concepts in semantics and explain how syntactic structure can influence the interpretation of certain constructions.
