As in-class activities, for the promotion of interest and motivation in communication, the course also includes discussion topics, interesting facts, stimulating quotes which are structurally and intellectually complex and thought-provoking. Integrating different reading and listening texts into communication-oriented tasks, this course aims to

develop students’ productive skills beyond their receptive skills and

increase public speaking skills by providing students with a variety of public speaking opportunities.

This class will be a combination of lecture, discussion, small group and pair work. There will be assignments and projects given to reinforce the skills learned in class.
