This course covers very basic introductory modern cryptography fundamentals—encryption, hashing, signatures—and their applications in IoT, blockchain, and big data. Students will analyze protocols, study attacks like side-channel vulnerabilities, and implement secure solutions for storage and authentication. Hands-on labs focus on real-world uses, from payment systems to secure messaging, developing practical skills for cybersecurity challenges.
