By the end of the semester, students should be able to use methods of vector calculus, in particular, line and surface integrals and related theorems, in rectangular and orthogonal curvilinear coordinates. Moreover, students should be able to competently apply elementary complex calculus, as well as the theory of functions of a complex variable, in particular, the residue theorem and its applications in contour integration.
