Course Objectives

The content of the course is the phenomenology and physiology of human vision. The course plans to teach how humans perceive the visual environment (including but not limited to color, motion, depth, object, and size as well as visual attention, visual short-term memory) supplemented with the physiology of the visual system from the eyes to the neocortex. The course materials will be intended to provide background on the content as well as the recent and cutting-edge developments in the field.
