Course objectives depend on the certification course, and may include one of more of the objectives listed below:

• Students will be able to learn how to build a model glider.
• Students will be able to learn basic operation principles of UAVs (drones), their components, sensors, system design, flight mechanics, drone control, meteorology.
• Students will be able to learn the air traffic control procedures; drone navigation, flight plan, operation envelope.
• Students will be able to learn about UAV’s avionics systems, radio control, ground station and software, autopilot and manual control.
• Students will be able to learn about drone operational safety, emergency procedures, risk assessment, aviation law.
