Course Objectives

This course provides a rigorous introduction to post-quantum public-key cryptosystems, covering multivariate (Matsumoto-Imai, oil-vinegar), lattice-based, hash-based, and isogeny-based cryptography. Students will analyze their mathematical foundations, compare security/efficiency tradeoffs, and evaluate implementation challenges, preparing them to design and critique modern cryptographic systems resistant to quantum attacks.
