Course Objectives

 

Students will gain an understanding of selected family problems according to different family therapy approaches (traumatic family/life events, psychosomatic families, aging families, family-of-origin issues, single-parent families, and remarried families).

Students will examine various methods and techniques used in selected family problems (traumatic family/life events, psychosomatic families, aging families, family-of-origin issues, single-parent families, and remarried families).
