- Develop patterns and tessellations;
- Use Pythagorean theorem;
- Interpret related theories;
- Understand the meaning of measurement;
- Understand standard and nonstandard units;
- Understand time, length, area, volume, angle, money;
- Prepare lesson content, using appropriate teaching techniques and materials;
- Interpret student thinking in relation to these concepts;
- Understand student difficulties, errors, misconceptions and the reasons behind them;
- Integrate these topics with real life and other courses;
- Engage in activities involving geometric concepts and measurement.
