At the end of the course students will have a broad understanding of the definitions of disaster and related terminology, as well as the principles of disaster risk management (DRM), expanding knowledge of DRM strategies. Besides, at the end of the course students are expected to acquire examples about disaster risk reduction strategies and implementations throughout the world comparing with Turkish cases.
